You're not in any position to do the former and you're definitely not the latter. I place zero weight on what you have to say on these topics given your consistently rude behavior towards me, save your keystrokes. > > I decided not to copy internals@ to save it some drama and wasted time, but I'll absolutely stand publicly behind these statements if you decide to publish them still. > > Zeev
Hi Zeev, Please only email me through the list. I do not believe it is rude to point out when other people are trying to force their will on a large community. It's very awkward, but it's not rude. cheers Dan Ack

I think it's clear you don't realize how rude you are, no surprises there.
I'm not going to continue discussing this topic with you. You seem to
think my words carry no weight, I'm absolutely sure yours don't carry any
weight - let's save everyone some time mental strain.

To everyone else - I stand 100% behind everything I wrote in my reply to
Peter.

Your words carry weight which is mostly a burden. Your discussions in the last month(s) have been detrimental to actually improving the language, by distracting, driving away and annoying contributors that are otherwise very much interested in discussing improvements. Dan's words do carry weight too, and it's the the weight of frustration of having to continuously deal with this unnecessary friction.
